Meet The Duck Barn Artisan

 Hi, thank you for visiting my website. Who am I you may ask.

Well, I was a Qualified Veterinary and due to health reasons i retired and took up ceramics in 2015. I made a studio adjacent to my ducks in our barn and The Duck Barn Artisan was formed as a business in 2016.

I grew my personal style and was slowly making my business grow when life threw a massive curve ball. Our landlords had decided that they wanted to sell up so I lost my home and studio, my partner left me during the start of the Covid epidemic and my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer to list a few. 

I had to reinvent myself and my business after having to sell my kiln so now I have changed to a new medium of polymer clay and my creative imagination is once more being brought to life.

My approach and output are constantly evolving as I hone my skill. However, I refuse to be typecast and work hard to ensure I do not repeat myself so everything I make is a one of a kind.

No matter what, The Duck Barn Artisan is like the pheonix and is rising again.
